We specialise in representing requested persons in relation to both Part 1 and Part 2 proceedings.
Whilst many of our clients are Polish we also welcome instructions from those facing extradition proceedings from any country.
We have particular expertise in European Arrest Warrants issued by the Judicial Authorities in Poland. Our lawyers are qualified to assist you with your case in every Court in England and Wales. We are also on the list of Lawyers in the Polish Bar as well as the list of specialist lawyers at the Polish Embassy in London in recognition of the work we do for our community.
Our clients come to us when they are at their most vulnerable. Often an EAW has already been issued and our client has been arrested. We also assist clients in interviews at the Polish Embassy and assist with proceedings in Poland. We have a close working relationship with a group of Polish lawyers who we work with in various extradition matters. We deal with all aspects of the extradition process, including applications to extend extradition in certain circumstances and applications to withdraw EAW after unsuccessful appeals.
We work fiercely to ensure that all our clients’ objectives are met. We have a very good track record with assisting people being released on bail from extradition proceedings. We are not afraid to appeal bail decisions and have been successful in clients being released on bail from the High Court in extradition proceedings.
We work tirelessly and imaginatively to ensure that all relevant evidence is presented before the courts to assist the arguments which we put forward to resist extradition.
In the unfortunate event of extradition being ordered we represent clients on appeal on the basis of legal aid. We have had many successful extradition appeals over the years and many happy clients.
We understand, and are very sensitive to, the toll extradition takes on those facing extradition proceedings and their families. We have years of experience in dealing with extradition matters. We are always at the other end of the phone in the event of any questions or further assistance with each case. Each case is individual and we treat it as such.
